2nd CONGRESS of the INTERDIVISIONAL GROUP ON CHEMISTRY FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY (ENERCHEM 2), February 12th-14th, 2020, Padova, Italy

We are glad to invite you to the 2nd CONGRESS of the INTERDIVISIONAL GROUP ON CHEMISTRY FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY of the Italian Chemical Society. ENERCHEM 2 will deal with topics related to the contribution of chemistry to renewable, clean and sustainable energetics, e.g. photovoltaics; electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, photoelectrocatalysis; hydrogen and solar fuels/chemicals production; artificial photosynthesis; 2D materials for energy applications; technologies for CO2 valorization; electrochemical devices for energy conversion and storage; biofuels; thermal storage for solar applications and energy efficiency; recycling and re-using, circular econom y and sustainability; replacing Critical Raw Materials.

ENERCHEM 2 will take place in Padova, Italy, on 12th-14th February 2020. Padova, a beautiful historical city in North-western Italy, well-connected with four international airports (Venice, Bologna, Verona and Treviso), is the seat of one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Europe. Participants in the ENERCHEM 2 meeting will have a chance to see Padova’s major artistic masterpieces and to reach Venice, where the Ca rnival will take place from 8th to 25th February, with a 20-minute train ride.

The following plenary and invited lecturers have confirmed their participation: Marc Koper, Vincent Artero,  Martin Pumera, Simona Bennici, Maximilian Fleischer, Elio Giamello, Eric Daniel Głowacki.

The deadline for abstract submission is November 27th, 2019.
The deadline for early registration is December 11th, 2019.
