Headed by Pof. Viktor A. Safonov (e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org)
The traditional experimental techniques are combined with X-ray diffraction and the techniques based on synchrotron irradiation.
- We study composition, structure, and the formation mechanism of the protective coatings containing Cr as the principle component and also the iron group metals. The coatings are fabricated by electrodeposition and alternative dry techniques.
- We also address the techniques of corrosion research based on the analysis of electrochemical noise.
