International Workshop «Materials for Today\u2019s Energy Challenge»
June 3rd and 4th, 2019, Padua, Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Surface Science and Catalysis Group of the Chemistry department of the University of Padua is happy to invite you to the International Workshop «Materials for Today’s Energy Challenge»<\/strong> that will be held in Padua on June 3er and 4th 2019.<\/p>\n

The workshop is mainly targeted to researchers who work in the Electrochemistry field. The aim is to show the last research advances in materials used for energy conversion and storage applications. We have already confirmed the participation of well-known professors, like Prof Peter Strasser <\/strong>(Technical University of Berlin), Prof Fabrizio Cavani <\/strong>(University of Bologna), Prof Beatriz Roldan<\/strong> Cuenya (Fritz-Haber Institute) or Prof Nicolas Alonso Vante<\/strong> (University of Poitiers), and young researchers from all over Europe. The main topics<\/u> of the workshop are fuel cells, batteries, capacitors, solar cells, CO2 valorization and hydrogen production. <\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no registration fee<\/strong>. In addition, the journal Surfaces (mdpi) is funding a travel grant of 200 \u20ac<\/strong>, and the Electrochemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society will award 2 poster prizes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The deadline for the abstract submission is March 30th and for the registration April 25th.<\/strong><\/p>\n
