Safonov<\/strong> (e-mail: safon@elch.chem.msu.ru)<\/p>\n<p>The traditional experimental techniques are combined with X-ray diffraction and the techniques based on synchrotron irradiation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We study composition, structure, and the formation mechanism of the protective coatings containing Cr as the principle component and also the iron group metals.
